Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

Now is your chance to own a robotic vacuum. CNET's best robovac-rated models will be on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts of up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that is equipped with smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also self-empties and refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. The most significant innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle detection system. This uses AI to detect objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's also the first to automatically send you a picture of an object it encounters to let you know to avoid it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we have ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills effortlessly and leaves no trace of it was there. It's easy to control through the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule cleaning and create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't sweep areas you don't want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it with a voice.

The design is also more appealing than the other models. It features a sleek, top piece that resembles an toy, not the loud and annoying robot. And the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying and is ideal to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests, we found that the j7+ quickly eliminated dirt, dust and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes held the debris in place, instead of scattering it across the floor. It even could take small gravel and sand that other robots can't. It did all this without getting caught in our pet's hair.

The j7+, though not as sophisticated as the Roomba S9 for $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot and isn't able to clean the stairs, is an excellent choice for those who require both a vacuum and a mop. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a while to download updates and it's sometimes difficult to determine if they are working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that does more than simply clean your floors A hybrid is the ideal choice. This kind of robot usually comes with a built-in tank for water, meaning they can both mop and vacuum your home at the same time. They also have a number of extra features, including smart robot mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and even the capability to dry and wash mopping pads. The downside is that they can be expensive at retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.

Roborock is the manufacturer of several of our top robotic vacuums and the Q5+ does not perform to the standards. This is the least expensive model of their auto-empty line. While it may not come with some of the luxurious features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories) however, it's a great choice if you are willing to compromise to save a few bucks.

The Q5+ is notably gentle around obstacles like table legs and walls which makes it a great option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies, which is an area where many cheaper robot vacuums often fail. The Q5+'s navigation is excellent, with few misses along walls and in corners.

The Q5+, as with other Roborock products can be controlled via only a few buttons on your device or through the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, create virtual barrier and no-go areas, adjust your home map, or change the room's label.

If you decide to go with the Q5+, it ships with a new auto-empty dock designed specifically to make this robot simple to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver but once it's installed, emptying the bin can be accomplished without difficulty. It also features a large LCD display, which is nice to have when you're creating schedules or changing settings. This feature isn't necessary for most people but it can help you easily keep the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot remote vacuum cleaner and mop is a clever well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of vacuuming and mopping. Its design and function are among the most advanced available however, it's also expensive.

It's a small base station that looks great and is easily hidden when not in use. The main reason to buy the station is that it can automate many tasks, functions, and chores that other robots leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot clean and charged.

Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive as well. It's the few robovacs I've tested that do an excellent job of picking up debris on unfinished floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs. This means it is prone to getting stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms in the house. It's also unable to climb stairs like other models and doesn't come with a docking station to create a cleaning area for carpets that are soft.

Although it doesn't have the same amount of cleaning-related options in its app, or as many in-app shortcuts like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone looking for an all-around great robot vacuum cleaner cheap vacuum and mop that's worth the premium price tag.

If you're looking for a way to save money or don't mind the limitations of the robot sweeper, there are plenty of other options available. Many eufy models cost significantly less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for example, is cheaper however it comes with many more features, like stairs and a fully-function Dock, which provides an improved overall experience when vacuuming on floors that are unfinished carpets with low pile and even high-pile ones.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy is an Anker company that has a long history of creating robot vacuums that offer the perfect balance of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different it offers a high-quality cleaning of hard floors as well as mopping, carpets and other surfaces at a reasonable price. It's easy to set up, just snap one of the side brushes on, turn it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to leave the dock near an electrical outlet and ample space to allow it to move around however.

The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be exact It can be placed under sofas and other furniture with low clearance. Its design is more subtle in comparison to other models. It has a sleek black finish with three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral pattern for two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do unscheduled cleaning.

The primary aspect that makes the G30 above the rest is the method it cleans. It uses a built-in map to create an image of immovable objects in its path while retaining what it's cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. When it's time to recharge, it will automatically return to its base, and then resumes cleaning from where it began.

The elegant G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba 675 is better constructed, has lower recurring costs, is charged more quickly and has the same battery life. It also offers superior performance on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't need to be emptied as frequently and comes with the boundaries to keep it away from certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller size means that it doesn't have to be empty as often and it's less difficulty with bulky items such as cereal.
