This is your chance to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday with savings of up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its run time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and Self Vacuum-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba J7+, IRobot's most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. Its biggest innovation is a camera-based obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to recognize objects like charging cords, shoes, and the dreaded pet waste most other robots can't avoid (and often go through). It's also the first robot to automatically send you a picture of any object it encounters to let you know to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo j7+ is also the most efficient mop robot cleaner we've ever tested, removing dirt and spills with ease and leaving no trace that it was there. It's simple to control via the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule cleaning times and create Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't sweep areas you don't want it to. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it with your voice.

The design is also better than the competition. It features a sleek, top piece that resembles a toy rather than the loud and annoying robot. The Clean Base automatic floor cleaning machine Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying and is ideal to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests, we discovered that the j7+ was quick to eliminated dirt, dust and hair from pets. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one place rather than sending it scattering around the floor robot. It was able capture small gravel, sand and even a bit of grit. The majority of robots cannot achieve this feat. It did all without getting caught up in our pet's hair.

The j7+, although not as intelligent as the Roomba S9 for $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum from iRobot, and can't clean the stairs, is an excellent choice for those who want both mopping and a vacuum. It's not expensive, and the iRobot application makes it user-friendly.

Although the iRobot Home app is very easy to use however, we've found it to be less reliable than other applications that utilize robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates, and it's sometimes difficult to tell if they are working until you see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking to purchase a vacuum that does more than just clean floors, the best option is probably a hybrid. These machines are equipped with a tank of water so they can mop and vacuum at the same time. These bots also come with various additional features like smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the ability to wash and re-dry mopping pads. The downside is that they tend to be pricey at full retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.

Roborock produces some of our favorite robotic vacuum cleaner sale vacuums, and the Q5+ does not fail to impress. It's the cheapest model of their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't come with some of the premium features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories) but it's a great choice when you're willing to make a few compromises to save a few dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeable soft around obstacles like tables and walls and walls, which makes it an excellent choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is a place where many robot vacuums that are less expensive do not excel in. The Q5+'s navigation system is top-quality, with a few misses along walls or in corners.

The Q5+, like other Roborock products can be controlled via only a few buttons on your device or via the Roborock App. Through the app, you can begin and stop cleanings and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and modify your home map, or change the labels of rooms.

If you decide to go with the Q5+, it comes with a new auto-empty dock that's specifically designed to make this robot easy to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once it's in place the process of emptying the bin is relatively simple. It has a large LCD screen which is helpful for setting up schedules or altering settings. This feature isn't necessary for most people but it can help effectively keep track of the robot vacuum cleaner's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of both vacuuming and mopping. Its design is among the best in the industry however, it's costly.

Its base station looks good and hides it when not in use, and the size is quite compact. The station's most appealing factor is its ability to automate numerous tasks and functions that other robots will leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water and also electrolyze and warm the water. Many other robots require you to perform this.

Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's the only robovacs that I've tested that does a really good job of cleaning up debris from plain floors, and is not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly when it comes navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs. This means it can get stuck or confused in certain areas of the house. It can't navigate stairs as well as some competitors, and doesn't come with a dock that lets you to set up an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for carpets that are soft.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who need a vacuum robot that can do it all.

But if you want to save some money or simply don't care about the limitations of this machine, there are plenty of other great choices available, including a lot of eufy models priced significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example, is cheaper and offers an identical experience on the app with more features, including stair climbing, a full-function dock, and better overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy is an Anker company that has an established track record of making robot vacuums that offer the perfect balance of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on hard and carpeted floors, as well as mopping functions at an affordable price. It's easy to set it up, simply connect one of the side brushes and turn it on, then plug in your charging dock. The app guides you through a few steps to connect to your Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. The dock should be placed near an outlet with plenty of space to move.

The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be exact It will fit under many couches and other low-clearance furniture. Its design is more subtle compared to some rival models. It features a sleek black finish with three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral fashion over two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.

The way in which the G30 cleans is what sets it apart from its rivals. It makes use of an integrated map to make a picture of the immovable items in its path. It keeps track of the things it has cleaned and the areas it was unable to access. When it's time to recharge, it returns to its base and resumes cleaning where it started.

The eufy G30 isn't without its faults, though. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower monthly costs. It is faster to charge, has similar battery life and performs better on unfinished flooring or carpet with a low pile. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't require to be emptied as frequently and comes with an array of boundaries to keep it away from certain areas. The G30, however, is more affordable and a lot easier to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't need emptying as often and is less prone to suffocating bulky materials such as cereal.
